I am nowhere near an expert, but I feel like ground-source heat pumps will be a big part of the overall solution to the climate and energy crisis.
We need to become more efficient at tapping the abundant renewable resources that Earth has (sunlight, geothermal, tidal, wind) so we can minimize burning combustibles and creating smog.
