Having poor dental hygiene is a proud English tradition and the Conservative party has strived to ensure this heritage has been maintained and preserved in the face of socialist Labour doogoodnicks who would have us all walking about with an unsustainable lack of cavities. If the foreigners don’t like it they can bugger off to the EU and get an acceptable level of dental & general healthcare, we fought two world wars and the Argentinians to keep the Eurocratic communists out of our mouths.
Two of my colleagues are from Poland and Bulgaria respectively and they’re both equally appalled by the state of dentistry in the UK, as well as the healthcare system.
They’ve both talked at length about not only the difficultly in finding a dentist, but also the absurd cost of treatment. I had a composite filling in a molar recently and their faces when I explained to them that the total cost of treatment was £279.
My Bulgarian colleague piped up and explained that in the last year she had flown back to Bulgaria specifically for dental work. The total cost of her filling?…. about £22.
My Polish colleague is now assisting me in finding a Polish dentist to start receiving treatment there since I’m a high-risk patient with a heavy amount of restoration. It’s actually going to be cheaper for me to fly out of the country just to get work done
Also, apparently in both Poland and Bulgaria you can pay for a blood panel + examination, and it’s really fucking cheap too? Like, you can just walk into a clinic and get that as a service??
The best way to reduce immigration to Britain is to give people a list of basic tasks to do like going to the dentist, setting up an internet connection, buying a phone, getting a blood test or paying for electricity and they will then leave voluntarily and never return and please can they take me with them
lol, did we tell them this is a modern well run country or something?
