He gets 2 1 all draws and it’s done, with lads saying he needs to be sacked, but they still respect De Zerbi. We are a joke of a fan base that turns on their own in a heartbeat. We ain’t winning nothing anytime soon. Sell FDJ and watch how the midfield crumbles when fucking Gundo gets injured.

Does Laporte think we’re winning the UCL money? Surely this guy is delusional— we’re digging ourselves deeper in to debt, but instead of doing it with big signings we’re slowly spending more
Instead of selling and buying new players they should establish a solid core first and boost the team chemistry. On paper we have a good team and there should be a proper defensive structure with a solid offensive plan. We have seen what this team was capable of when healthy. I get that there are certain positions still to be filled, for example a CDM, but buying new players **won’t** fix the tactical and confidence issues we are seeing at the moment.
Realistically the only players who you can sell for good money are De Jong, Araujo, Pedri and Gavi. So I think the money will come from the loaned players. Eric, Dest, Lenglet and Chadi might get you 40/50 combined.
Given the salary, I expect that we will have another summer of “Frenkie please lower your salary or fuck off”. He has two years in his contract so renewal talks might be in soon. If he isn’t sold this year, he might leave for free since the renewal offer will be a lot lower and in a club that is struggling.
We can probably get some money for Christensen too. But the summer to sell AC was probably last, this year are getting so many goals that even Aruajo’s value has dropped.
I believe that selling Raphinha for less than 50 would not count for the fair play so it would make no sense.
Ultimately, it’s fucking sport so it’s probably all lies.

I find it interesting how Barcelona fans always react to the possibility of selling players.
We see their team not working. We see that some players need to go for others to come in. But we don’t want any player other than those with value under a few million to be sold.
Making omelettes requires breaking eggs folks. In 2008, two world-class superstars – Deco and Ronaldihno – were let go. The club also tried to force out Eto’o (one of the best strikers in Barca’s history) but he refused to leave. Other great players like Edmilson, Thuram, Dos Santos and Zambrotta were let go that summer.
What followed was the best seasons in Barca’s history.
Teams are not the sum of their parts. Sometimes a player is extremely capable but doesn’t fit the plan. It you’ve gone a season without titles, it is absolutely obvious that you need to let go of a long list of players, including some of your individual favourites, and bring in fresh blood, talents and ideas.
