After splitting with my partner last year and a rent increase in December, it’s getting more difficult for me to afford keeping these two boys. I live in an upstairs 1 bed flat so I can’t let them outside and it’s just not enough space. I would love them to have a bigger home and the option to go outside.

I’ve given my information to some charities that rehome cats but everywhere seems to just say they have a long waitlist and will get back to me. I’m fine to keep them at mine until I find a new home – I don’t want to put them in a rescue centre. I’m also aware of the dangers of putting cats on sites like gumtree etc so I’m trying to be careful.

They are both boys, around 19 months old from the same litter. Both neutered and microchipped. Both friendly and love cuddles once you get to know them. Based in east London.

If you’re interested or have any advice, please let me know.

  1. There’s a group on FB called Stokey Cats and Dogs that may be able to help.

  2. I’m so sorry it’s come to this . You don’t know how your life is going to change in the coming couple of years , so hopefully you can hang on a little bit longer and they could maybe stay with you . Please , please don’t separate them . Have you thought of asking a charity for help with food if you are in financial difficulties?
