  3. As someone who’s been struggling for a decade and a half, I really respect him being so open and honest about this. I’m also glad he’s doing well.

    I really enjoyed the Drew Carey Show, and I think he’s been a great host on Who’s Line/The Price Is Right.

  5. During the writers and actor strike he provided free meals to all union members at his restaurant if they came. He picked up the tab for all meals for months and all you had to do was show your union card.

    Really awesome guy.

  6. I’m married and always thought of him as my ‘one off’. I’d just like to go on a date, go bowling 🎳, get something to eat and have some laughs. He just seems like a really nice guy. I would love to hear his story.

  11. As a kid growing up in Cleveland in the 90s, Drew was a huge deal for us. His parents lived about 15 streets from me in old brooklyn. Not the shittiest neighborhood at the time but not the best, and they had the nicest house on the street obviously, but I always found it odd that they didn’t live somewhere nicer. I guess once you get that age and lived there your whole life it’s home.

    Anyways, Drew has pissed us off from time to time, but I will always have a soft spot for him.
