Hope everyone is learning how to garden real fast. Good shortages are going to be big in the upcoming years. If you thought groceries were expensive in 2023, wait until 3 billion people are starving
Rephrase that. The end of modern civilization. Learn and be flexible for the future because the kind of life we live today is over and has been over for about 40 years.
We need to cut back on EVERYTHING we consume and produce. It’s too late to reverse changes, we can mitigate impact however.
Because of the timeframes involved, the solution for this specific problem (Arctic amplification) is Solar radiation management.
Arctic summer incoming solar radiation must be reduced.
Arctic winter outgoing radiation must be increased.
Artificially.
To be clear this does not solve climate change, but it buys us some time.
