Can count on my hands how often they actually got it out. 😢

you mean the fancy wall furniture? Wasnt aware it actually f’n moved!
It was never out.
Had it when I was in primary (different colours) but it was never used. From what I’ve been told it was used by the younger years
You lot are unlucky we got ours out all the time
Ours didn’t look like this.
It was just a big, varnished wooden thing with a rope.
Never used it in primary school and feared we might have to.
The floor of the hall was varnished wood too. You fell on that shit and it HURT. Probably why this beast stayed on the wall.

But it came out once in secondary for us to all learn “how to hop a farm gate” with some weird flipping technique.
There was 1 very wide, wooden rung to choose to grab. And I was too short to reach it.
Nobody hops a farm gate like this.
Nobody.
I have hopped 100s of farm gates. I have never I bent over the gate and grabbed the lowest rung I could then flipped myself over.
Saw it everywhere never used one.
Year 1 to Year 6, I remember the amount of times we got to use those things, twice.
I never got to play on these as a kid, it was never out.
But I broke the system…
I was a playground installer, and now playground installations manager and inspector. Last year I got called out to inspect one of these for repairs, and told the head she could leave me to it to have a look around and check everything.
