Why were only 2 guards at the scene of a physical dispute when there is 4 aggressors are they stupid
Why even bother commenting if you’ve never been in an altercation, ya real clever. Getting battered is being brave 😂😂😂😂😂
There should be a minimum 5 year sentence for assaulting Guards, Firefighters or Paramedics.
Judge Nolan?
Not in the article but I understand the two victims had to be brought out through the rear entrance because the families were not to happy with the verdict and were hurling abuse at them outside the court.
Just be glad that Nolan is 64 years old and ahe of retirement is 66. Just 2 more years til we are free
Didn’t Fine Gael make a big statement about increasing sentences for attacking the Garda? Isn’t it 12 years you can be put away for assault on frontline officers?
Should be leniency shown for those who attack tyrants.
Can we please go back to the days when you either respected the Garda or feared them.
Those Garda should have walked out the front door with their heads held high and if the family abused them they should have let them embarrass themselves and charged them. Even verbally abusing someone in the line of duty should be an offence that gets deducted from their dole.

Sounds pathetically lenient
