Got this at an estate sale and cannot find any information on it, would love to know more about it.

    Translated: “give me a little drink” althought he “wee swally” can equally well mean a small glass of wine or going out on a five day bender.

  2. On google I found vintage mugs by Barbara Davidson – The Grand Tour of Scotland collection. I think she was based in Larbert. So I think it is something inspired by her ceramics but I am not entirely sure. I found a mug with the same saying. Sorry if I am stating anything obvious here lol.

  3. You may get more information if you were to remove it from the frame. The bottom line is clearly cut off where you can just make out the top of some letters, ‘celebrating everyday savings in’…. Last line likely to answer who/what it’s connected to
