  5. Benieuwd hoeveel “rondreizende dievenbendes” en mensensmokkelaars (focus vd actie) ze effectief hebben kunnen klissen, vrees, gezien gebrek aan details in het artikel, bar weinig.

    Maar de twee ministers van BiZa en Justitie plus de gouverneur staan wel op ene foto in de gazet. The system works.

    Het feit dat er nergens wordt gezegd over hoeveel drugs het gaat doet me vermoeden dat ze 39 man gepakt hebben die wat wiet bij hadden voor persoonlijk gebruik. Proficiat aan de betrokken instanties. /s

  9. It was not a success. They did not intercept a single burglar or vagrant perpetrator group, which was specifically what they set out to do. If they consider this a success, either they lied about their intentions or they moved the goalpoasts when they found their goal would not be met.

    This is not the kind of message that reinforces my trust in the police.

    Meanwhile a woman is missing since almost 4 weeks. Police suspended the search because “not enough new sightings emerged”. Maybe this deployment would have been better spent resuming the search for her. I’m sure it would have provided just as much “collateral succes” as this one did.

    Also, Bart Boterman, can you at least try to pretend you’re a journalist and not an overzealous law and order fanboy by avoiding obviously biased phrases like “Het staat buiten kijf dat de acties hun nut bewezen”?

  10. Ik woon klaarblijkelijk al te lang in de VS, want dit soort zaken ergeren me enorm.

    Hebben we nood aan een 4th ammendment *OF* heeft iedereen hier totaal geen probleem mee?
