A Russian soldier bumped into a Ukrainian position of “Donbass” regiment. When asked what he was doing there, he said he got up in the morning and got sent for bread. Ukrainian soldiers were really surprised with this answer…

2. On the bright side, this guy’s life just got significantly better. If he made it back to the frontline, he’d probably be dead soon. Being a POW in Ukraine is a big improvement.

18. Russian conscript got “lost” on the way to get bread. Dude doesn’t realize how lucky he is. A couple years in a comfy (comparatively to russia) Ukrainian pow camp, no more cold ass nights in the trenches, and gets 3 hots and a cot. About to be in the lap of luxury while his buddies get got.

21. You might be surprised, but unfortunately such situations happen with Ukrainian soldiers as well. Guy who was in subdivision with my friend went to find water and got lost. Supposedly he got captured and killed

23. Ukraine is winning whenever they take in an (obviously) weakened soldier like this. That soldier also could have been shot, it’s war, and he was carrying his rifle. Instead, he lives. I hope he stays sober so he can reflect on his tremendous good luck.
