How does one open those things ? I want to change the lightbulb that’s gone out, but I’m flabbergasted as to how in hell this old light fixtures opens. There are no clips, no screws, it does pop out….

Looks really vintage. I haven’t seen exactly similar one but I assume it does pop out somehow. It might be rather tight, though. Another possibility is that it needs to be twisted open.
But don’t blame me if it breaks apart…
Try compress side inwards near the mount.
Usually these push up, which means they hang on something. This is really counterintuitive the first times but usually i can get them down by pushing up and out, if you get my meaning.

But since they look antique, be prepared that plastic starts raining down on you if you pull or push a little to hard.
