Surprised that Labour’s amendment to change the motion to
>That the Parliament notes the Scottish Government’s paper, Building a New Scotland: an independent Scotland in the EU, and believes that Scotland’s economic, social and political future is best served by Scottish and UK Labour administrations.
Didn’t get wide cross-party support.
devolved migration powers is tricky, because it effectively creates a class of people who are explicitly 2nd-class citizens, that have the right to be in Scotland, but do not have the right to be in other parts of the UK.
