Hey guys, I am non-EU and I am studying a vocational qualification in restaurant and catering. I will graduate next year.

Once I get a job, do I apply for this permit – [Residence permit application for person with a degree completed in Finland](https://migri.fi/en/degree-completed-in-finland)

I am quite confused because it says that “degree completed in Finland.” Not so sure if a vocational qualification counts as a degree.

Thank you!

    >**You have studied and completed a degree or qualification in Finland.**

    >Your degree can be, for instance, a higher education degree completed at a university or at a university of applied sciences. It can also be the Finnish matriculation examination, an initial vocational qualification, a further vocational qualification or a specialist vocational qualification.

You should be fine with using that one. I recommend reading the guidelines though

  2. Did you read any of the text past the title?
