Big day at the office. Again. The numbers are truly mind blowing and they keep coming.
Juicy artillery numbers once more !!!
Artillery systems appear to be back on the menu, though I’m worried about North Korea’s involvement. Especially with one of the recent posts talking about how they can provide artillery weapons to Russia…
The intensity of Russian attacks remained at the same level as the previous two days.
– In the Svatove and Severodonetsk direction, the Russian army continued armored and infantry offensives towards Kupiansk and Lysychansk. The fighting is fierce, and there are positions or areas along the front line that change hands. Russian units have slightly improved their positions in the gray area at some points, but no significant progress has been made. According to the Ukrainian military leadership, a Russian attack aircraft Su-34 was hit in this area yesterday.
– In the Bakhmut area, the Russian army conducted individual reconnaissance-like offensives, but there have been no changes in the situation.
– The number of offensives conducted by the Russian army around Donetsk decreased slightly, but it was still the most active area of Russian offensives along the entire front. These did not bring about significant changes in the situation.
– In the southern front, Russian units remain passive. On the eastern bank of the Dnieper, Russian units are trying to restart their offensives, and the number of attacks on Ukrainian positions is gradually increasing. The spokesperson of the Ukrainian southern front reported that Ukrainian forces have managed to expand their positions on the eastern bank of the Dnieper. This may be a minor improvement in positions along the riverbank. Since Ukraine has not moved heavy equipment across the river, it is unlikely that they will move far from the riverbanks using only infantry units. In the bigger picture, the situation has not changed, and Ukraine is trying to motivate the Russian military leadership to continue attacks near the Dnieper.
Big day! Creeping up on 1k MLRS & 10k artillery systems!
Every night I wait for this before I go to sleep. With today’s big numbers, I’ll sleep like a baby. Time for us to pass the funding bill in congress and give Ukraine the support they need.
I wonder how much arty they have left in storage. Like, at what point will they run out?
What an amazing expense of poorly-trained conscripts. Bravo, Gerasimov! Donkeys led by Donkeys.
the ork attack from north on Novomykhailivka (south of Mariinka) was stopped due to UA counterattack, based on footage. orks sent tanks and IFVs and got destroyed. however, the fields that orks gained during this attack are still under their control according to deepstate. orks are also attempting to attack from south and it seems like they’ve been stopped on this vector as well. e: https://youtu.be/VHLd6BRt2go
in Avdiivka, there don’t appear to be any changes. however there seems to be an attempt to severe the orks’ southern advance and cut their forward positions on the southern outskirts of the city. we’ll see.
in Kupiansk regin, orks managed to expand the area around newly captured settlement of Tabaivka (south-east of Kupiansk). the ork controlled area is now close to the hills. hopefully the hills have good fortifications and will pose a natural obstacle for further advance. check deepstate.
Putin: Stop counting the personnel losses. I am willing to sacrifice 1 million of Russians or more if needed.
…and a whopping 51 artillery systems.
Starting to wonder if there’s a general on the Russian side with a bright idea. Push all the artillery forward, claim to be supporting offensive operations, let it get blown up faster. When it runs low, pull artillery from other areas of the front. Breakthrough happens in the part of the front the artillery was pulled from, but the commanders of that area can be blamed instead of the guy who took the artillery. Russian forces have to withdraw, the guy who controlled the artillery gets to go home and crow about how he did HIS job and didn’t let HIS part of the line get broken, instead of having to sit around invaded territory drinking from puddles.
Must be a record for artillery, the Ukrainians are really hammering Ruzzia’s lynchpin of it’s army…👍
4 digits day!
Every time I see that total Personnel Casualties I think of a Rugby or Football stadium filled with 50 000 people and just think that it’s almost 8 fully packed stadiums full of humans that are dead. Insane to imagine, Also a T-72 is about 9,5m in length, If you had to park them one after the other 6310 tanks would make a line of tanks almost 60km long.
135 vehicles in one day. 1000 troops. A gulf war every day. Just amazing
And this was before GLDSB arrived!
Jesus…. that’s a lot of meat today
Well looks like 400k by Valentines Day! Wonder if Putin’s going to send all the widows flowers…
How many countries have an army in this world today that have a force (in equipment) as large as the Russian losses?
Big day great
Heard in some radio program that Russia looses equipment in a week they can produce in a month. No way they can survive this.
