The one on the left looks like it tastes better than the one designed to look nice for Instagram on the right.
I would assume it’s because 18 is a special birthday whereas 20 isn’t.
The real comparison is with your 18th cake… What was that like? 20th birthday is not a “biggie”, relatively speaking.

Definitely prefer the look of the cake on the left. I’m not a fan of those overly fancy cakes. They always taste far too sweet with all that frosting and paraphernalia.
Give me a slice of that Viccy sponge and a nice fresh cup of cuppa tea please!

This is like me bemoaning and comparing the present my brother got for his 40th compared to the present I got when I turned 36. One’s a big “milestone” birthday and the other is not.
