Hello Belgium!
I own a 2 door car and I’m looking at replacing my front seats with sportseats.
Now, I’m wondering if it’s necessary for these sport seats to have the handle original seats have, to allow the rear seat passengers to leave the car on their own?
If it is (and I still install the seats without this handle), will I not pass the keuring?
I have contacted the support team of the sportseats and they say the seats can tilt forward to about a 45 degree angle, so getting in and out of the backseat isn’t a problem, it just requires someone to pull the handle from the bottom side.
I have added pictures to explain my question better.
Thanks!

So if you get into an accident and you have to leave the car in a hurry, the people in the backseat are screwed?
Regulations like that exist for safety reasons.
The scummy way to do it and I don’t condone it but it’s done a lot is to keep the original seats and put them in when you have to pass inspection.
But if you ever think you are gonna transport backseat passengers I would advice strongly against putting something it that makes it harder to leave the car in a urgent matter.
