Would be nice if each areas had it’s expected GWh capacity.
Hopefully at least a decent chunk of the ones still in the planning stage can be the newer novel designs, otherwise I worry migrating bird populations crossing the North Sea are going to get minced!
I wonder what the effect of harnessing large amounts of energy from the wind on the local weather is like. I would guess at least that it stabilises the weather somewhat, with us humans being in control of how much energy we harness.

Curious why nothing has been built around Northern Ireland, isn’t it supposed to be very windy there?
Wouldnt modern nuclear reactors be a good soulition, in my country there is a rising interest among the population for reactors which could solve the energy problem

It looks chaotic to me, but I’m sure the experts know what they are doing. The UK has such a huge offshore windfarm potential and the plans look ambitious. Well done, UK.
