I always wonder why they show men die then blur things out.
Ukraine is already the most mined place on Earth and it’s only getting worse. It’s terrifying to think about the long-term consequences. To this day people are getting blown up in Vietnam and lots of areas are off-limits. Ukraine’s economy is tied to its farming capacity, so they won’t be able to simply cordon off vast swaths of land.
The echos of this war will be heard for generations to come regardless of who wins it.
