As a British person looking at the US: the return of trump signals a whole list of potential disasters. I fear for what will happen in Ukraine without their support. We in the UK and across Europe absolutely have Ukraine’s back but I can’t fathom how easy it will be for the US to drop vital support when trump returns to power.
I struggle to understand how his mind functions. I struggle to comprehend his opinions on NATO. I mean, the last country to trigger article five was actually the united states (9/11). It has a proven track record on his home turf and he wants out! I know he won’t be able to take the US out of NATO but he’ll certainly do his best to hold back if and when the time comes.

I think his arrival will bring Europe closer together because we’ll need to rely on each other more. I hate that the UK left the European union.
