Conclusion, the old rule of the strongest prevails. The only way for Ukraine to get justice is to beat the crap out of russia.
Well, that was a gigantic waste of time like with most things regarding the UN, but at least the terror cases are documented now.
A Russian could be balls deep in a corpse, and the lawyers will plead it could be considered consensual because the corpse didn’t explicitly say no.

What a fucking joke
Meanwhile, a U.N. agency has been found to be implicitly involved in terrorism. Zero credibility.
Fk the UN
Fuck the UN
UN lol
Did you expect anything less from the Useless Nations.
Fuck the UN.
If the useless UN had found them guilty they would have done nothing anyway. Scrap that useless organisation with a war criminal tyrant as part of its security council.
It doesn’t say everything was rejected, e.g. “it did establish Russia violated international law”. 🤔
The UN boss shook hands with Lavrov, he is bought and paid for.
Asking a terrorist organization to adjudicate whether Russia is a terrorist organization — what did we expect?
While I’m very much unhappy with this ruling… It Is what it is…
Most of us have an attitude that when decisions are made in our favour, the decision makers were competent and credible.
When their decisions go against our notions, we believe them foolish, incompetent and lacking honesty.
I think we have to realize that this war, while brutal and I think constitutes terror, may not meet the bar based on previous wars.
Iraq, Afghanistan… Russias other wars against its smaller states… Armenia and Azerbaijan… all conflicts taken in the context of what was done.
I think the bar for a nation state to be considered “terror” is far higher than most of us assume, simply because other players have done similar things and they were ruled as legitimate acts in war.
I don’t like this ruling. I hate it. But on some level, knowing there is no other party in the world that will be able to delve into it to the same degree, I have to begrudgingly accept it.
And this for me is a matter of consistency. The most recent ruling they did on Israel was both positive and negative. I have my feelings, but will respect the courts decisions because if we don’t have someone somewhere as the arbiter then we all just get to live in our own personal delusions.
This will be a wildly unpopular comment and I expect to be downvoted into oblivion for it, but it’s my belief. In the end, it changes nothing on the ground and I still stand with Ukraine. It doesn’t make Russias war anymore just or acceptable. It just means tactics they’ve been using, compared to other armed conflicts, don’t hit this courts incredibly high bar for state terrorism.
I don’t think they’d even be able to convict the Iranians, who are the current number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world (including selling drones to Russia to kill Ukrainians)
The UN is a waste of time for anything not aid related. There is no philosophy there.
Our entire world is failing Ukraine. I’m glad im not Ukrainian because I would be so maddeningly pissed off with everyone else, idek what i’d do. Take it out on some Russians ig. But I bet when Russia brings a similar case up in court they will happily go do whatever to hit Ukraine down.
Useless paper tiger the UN
UN is dysfunctional brain dead opportunistic shitshow
How this same bullshit court could claim Israel was engaging in genocide and yet ignore the blatant targeting of Ukraine civilians by Russia beggars belief.
UN should be abolished
UN is starting to look like the League of Nations – a waste of time and energy.
It’s crazy that they believed Russia that Russia didn’t supply these groups. If they didn’t, how can these rebel groups use one of the most advanced air defense systems that they got? Who trained their operators? And only fools didn’t know about “little green men” operations that Russia had been doing since losing their puppet in 2014.
What a weird title: here is another one “Russia recognized guilty of financing terrorism in first international court ruling”. Read the article. It rejected cases for jurisprudence reasons (they were judging financial crimes).I can’t blame Ukraine for trying to make them judge war crimes and crimes against humanity but if it is not the good court, presenting it as a legal defeat is weird…
damn, must have hit them with the ” depends on the context ” or that the un is just a money whore.
the UN is fucking pathetic. excusing russian terrorism and helping fund and train HAMAS terrorists. what a joke.
