On and on the destruction continues and Russia doesn’t care. I know we all think half a million is the magic number but it’ll go past that just like 300k did or 400k will and there will be no reaction out of Russia. I don’t know what number it will stop at but I’m willing to bet it will be far far higher than any of us can even conceive
According to Budanov, the Russian offensive is going to start to run out of assault forces by spring. With daily numbers like this I’d be surprised if they have anything left in Ukraine by spring.
Consider the huge logistical effort and expense of replacing 30,000 per month, just to replace those lost to injury and killed. This is another madness of this pointless war. To me, it appears that their war machine is out of control, cut off its head and it keeps going until the human or financial or machine resources are exhausted. Hopefully, sooner than we think, as Budanov hinted.

Russia continued active attacks in the north of Donbas and around the city of Donetsk.
– In the Svatove and Severodonetsk areas, Russia continued intensive attacks towards Kupiansk and Lysychansk. The battles are ongoing in the so-called grey area, and Russian units have not been able to achieve lasting success.
– Around Bakhmut, the Russian army is trying to start a new offensive, but so far, they have not been successful.
– In the vicinity of Donetsk, Russian attacks were very active and numerous. Assault attempts were made in both the Avdiivka and Marinka suburban areas. The Ukrainian forces are also conducting counterattacks, and overall, there have been no major changes in the frontline. Russian army losses have significantly increased in this area in recent days.
– In the southern front, Russian units were passive. On the east bank of the Dnieper, Russian forces conducted a larger number of offensive attempts yesterday after several weeks of pause. Currently, there is no information that they have been successful.
