I sold an item on [Finn.no](https://Finn.no). The buyer was not happy with the condition of the item. I made a mistake in the advert where I labelled the item as ‘new’ when it was used. I did however explain in the description ‘good condition’ (rather than new). I also provided good photos of the condition… but my error regarding the ‘new’ label still exists of course. The buyer believes I should ‘buy the item back off of him, and thereby also pay the return postage. Is this normal procedure? Most other marketplaces appear to dictate that the seller pays the return postage. The buyer may be trying to take advantage of my unfamiliarity with the rules of Finn, but I cannot say that for sure. What are the rules here? Thank you

You claimed it was new and it wasn’t, I’d say the buyer is right to undo the purchase at your cost, including postage.
Essentially, this has nothing to do with Finn.no. You and another person used the platform to make a deal, and that deal is covered under [Kjøpsloven](https://lovdata.no/dokument/NL/lov/1988-05-13-27?q=kj%C3%B8psloven). The other person has “reklamasjonsrett” if the product received is different from what was agreed.
By law, this is your problem.
Just contact Finn they will clarify.
