  1. Andrew tate, and Jordan Peterson are a pox on the world

  2. I mean, is anyone actually surprised that 3rd wave of feminism, vilifying (and vilainifying) half the world’s population, is not an attractive alternative to that half of the world population?

  3. They are right. Women already have equal rights, so at this point feminism is just supporting female privilege.

  4. Even early day feminist are hating on feminist now days. One is fighting for right and there is whole another level where they fight for explotation.

  5. I’d be curious to see these statistics broken down by ethnicity/background in addition to age.

    The article states that

    >Ethnic minority men are most likely to follow Tate, with more than a third agreeing he “raises important points about real threats to male identity and gender roles” compared with 12% among white men. Sample sizes are too small to determine which ethnic minority groups might be driving this, the researchers stressed.

  6. LGBT movement did more wrong to feminism then any Gen Z boy or men.

  7. The thumbnail says it all.

Con artists telling young lads that the downfall of “Western” civilisation directly correlates with them not getting their dicks wet.

  8. Don’t see how this is an article for /r/europe, and the headline is highlighting the wrong statistic in my mind, because 16% of gen z said feminism was harmful vs 13% of 60+. The more scary stat is that 20% and 32% of them have a favorable view of Andrew Tate and Jordan Peterson, respectively.

Those two things are not the same.

  9. That’s probably because feminism has changed significantly. The feminism the baby boomers grew up with was way less antagonistic than todays feminism.

  10. People don’t follow you, when you tell them they are the problem?

    Shocked and awed.

  11. Not really a surprise. In those days women were actually oppresssed

  12. When the new progressive religion espouses that every man is born a misogynist and rapist, the new male only version of original sin, it’s not surprising there’s a kick back against the woke clerics.

  13. Well i have personally been told by women (in their 20s) that since men had it better in the 50s it’s only natural and fair that the pendulum now swings and women should enjoy privileges and hold more power than men.
Like, instead of us being equal..

  14. About 60% of young men are incels

And I mean the true definition of an incel, the low fertility rate does not surprise me at all knowing that half of the male population is not having sex

Pretty crazy if you think about it

  15. This is no supprise, feminism has evolved to something that is not for equal rights anymore. Feminism has become opperssive machine against men.

  16. Something about being told by mothers to behave a certain way to be a man and being told by society that’s toxic and trying too hard really fucked with people’s brain I suppose.

  17. no men talks this kind of bullshit like tate …

  18. Today’s feminism is definitely harmful, so they are right. The original goal of feminism was to get equal rights, nowadays it is to get advantages anywhere possible.

Also when most feminists support men to compete and beat them in sports then you know that the movement is doomed and lost its true meaning.

  19. Gen Z German dude here

I never thought of feminism being harmful as long as it promotes gender equality and also tackles the sexism I have to deal with as a male.

I have to play the “racist”-card here and say, that this issue is a lot more present among ethnic minorities, especially males from muslim/balkan/eastern countries. Sorry not sorry.

  20. The right look for recruits, the left look for traitors.

The right are far more open to and welcoming to newcomers than the progressive left such as feminists, who expect you to be onboard with and agree with them on absolutely everything from day one, otherwise you’re an -ist or an -obe and should be ostracised and excluded. And where the left ostracises, the right reaches out to.

Left wingers such as feminists need to be far more open to and empathetic to people who might not agree with them on everything or have grievances that they might not agree with. The ideological purity demanded by the left just pushes people away.

  21. When the left says white men are the enemy why are we surprised?

  22. Feminism, socialism are like a medicine, difference between cure and poison is in a dose.

  23. Well, considering that there was a #KillAllMen movement recently, I believe it.

  24. Well since you’re born a man you’re branded as a potential threat, and in some cases you are guilty until proven innocent. It’s kinda obvious that men feel resentment.

  25. If there ever was a thread on /r/europe that proved that this subreddit is full of reactionary teenagers, it would be this one.
