New Welsh law ‘would restrict public information and damage journalism in Wales’

  1. Kinda pushing the definition of “damaging journalism” given its talking about posting the council tax changes once a year.

  2. They have to post tax changes through the government website rather than through news outlets. Boo hoo. They’re making it sound like some kind of authoritarian attack on free press.

  3. There are a lot of journalists (especially in Wales sadly) who are dreadfully lacking in self awareness.

This is an article about posting tax changes through the government website rather than through (often partisan) news outlets. The only reason you’d have an issue with that is if you were a journalist looking for a ‘scoop’. This really isn’t of any concern, or even interest, to anyone else.

  4. It’ll be fine, we don’t have any journalists in Wales, just political activists and Labour party sycophants.
