I was in the US Navy for a while, the Russian sailors were always really cool to us when they pulled into port and we’d trade random shit: cigarettes, CDs, magazines, candy, etc. They were mostly kids / young adults and we were really excited to see one another as it’s like meeting someone from a different world (I really loved the cool little caps they wore). I’m willing to bet that mostly young folks died in this attack.
I do however hope Ukraine comes out ahead in this conflict.

EDIT: Apparently this ship had a smaller crew of fifty not hundreds. From the video it looked similar in size to a US Naval Cruiser which has a crew of around three hundred.
