  1. Europe today was able to approve the €50bn funding, which is good news. But it is not enough.

The US Russian assets are still blocking much needed aid.

  2. Seems like the west can’t really keep up with the wars.
It’s only a matter of time before the rest of Europe will face the same situation as Ukraine.

  3. The west doesn’t have the same stockpiles as Russia does, it focuses a lot on quality but sometimes a $10000 weapon blows up a tank just as well as a $1,000,000 one.

I think this war will alter current Western military strategies.

  4. The US should not be obligated to supply weapons for Ukraine’s endless war. We have our own problems to deal with.

  5. Love it how people think it’s a video game where you just put down another factory and the tanks roll out twice as fast 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

  6. When it comes to weaponry, the West doesn’t have Russia’s massive stockpiles. They’re more about quality over quantity.

  7. Ukraine was always going to lose. The fact they are still fighting is only because the west has completely re-equipped their army like 3 times over. No amount of 155m howitzer shells will change the outcome.

  8. They sure it’s not some other corrupt official hoarding the firearms??????

  9. Western allies might be thinking theyll need some for themselves soon.

  10. Like you couldn’t see this coming…

What a waste of life on both sides…jeez nothing changes in humanity

  11. Aaaaand as usual, everyone in the comments knows exactly how numbers, tactics, material, strategies work.

  12. When Americans have kids dying in the next great European war they’ll be mad at Joe Biden for not doing more.

  13. There is only so much the world can spend on killing people.

  14. Forget the howitzer shell production… They need drone operators trained and a million more drones.

  15. 2000 shells per day? That’s a hell of a carbon footprint for the rest of us to pay for

  16. It kinda shows how underprepared NATO would have been if it came to conventional war. And yes I know we aren’t handing out the high money stuff, but Ukraine is going through 155mm arty shells faster than they ca be made

  17. wasn’t ukraine winning or something? make no mistake, this war is atrocious and ukrainians deserve their sovereignty, but reddit COD players have been going on about how they’re just crushing russia and… ?

  18. *only* 2000 rounds a day? They are turning Eastern Ukraine into a steel mine!

  19. Once again I will state for the people the wars in Israel and Ukraine are connected. Russia/Iran decided to instigate in the region to divide US support between two theaters of war and weaken support for military intervention on the homefront overall

  20. Guess they’ll have to be more judicious in their target selection since ammo doesn’t grow on trees.-

  21. Sucks to be the Ukraine. They were a terrible country with bad leadership before this and it is ridiculous that they demand others foot the bill for something that is not their war.

If they fall to Russia, they fall to Russia.

  22. Here’s the thing… what they say can’t be true because they would not signal their desperation to Russia in such a public way. There are the things that leaders say to other leaders and things they say to the news outlets.

  23. Ukraine would be Russian territory if US didn’t help them. Germany and rest of wealthy European countries don’t care much about about Ukraine.

  24. I don’t think the Western money will matter soon once Ukraine well and truly runs out of manpower unless they start literally *buying* foreign soldiers.

  25. Fire as many as you like, as long as my tax dollars aren’t funding it.
