Although it’s not a vessel it cannot be understated that they’ve also lost their prestigious headquarters. The Black Sea fleet is suffering significant losses in a campaign where its primary roles are launching stand off missiles and protecting shore lines against an enemy without a navy.
The latest attack was super sophisticated, I hope that continues to get more of these ships as quickly as possible.
Any comments from Gerasimov or Sokolov in this regard?
That is a lot of steel at the bottom of the Black Sea. Most countries would reconsider their naval strategy if they lost that portion of their fleet.
