  3. Excellent decision, the only one that could be arrived at based on a reading of the facts. If the voters decided they shouldn’t be able to run again, then that’s the fault of the legislators not doing their job.

  10. We’re reaching FAFO levels never before seen. An Oregon Republican State Senator came up to me, tears in his eyes, and said “Sir, I’ve never seen this before! I sowed so much, I never thought I’d end up reaping all of this!”

  26. I love this BECAUSE it was a citizen-led initiative to pass this law. So we have a shitty state congress, citizens get tired of it and pass laws to make them SHOW UP TO WORK. And then the shitty congressmen take it to the Supreme Court on language technicalities AND LOSE.

  29. Republicans are idiots. The voters of Oregon approved the amendment and they knew the consequences of not showing up to their job. It’s not like this is going to flip the legislative to Democrat, since it already is. I’m sure a republican court would rule in favor of the democrats too.
