Drakeford also doesnt understand the fact omicron is so ridicolously infective its going to infect most people anyway – so he’s protecting no one (except let peoples boosters wane)
Drakeford also doesnt understand his measures are pathetic and the only thing doing anything is closing nightclubs. Incidentally he’s only encouraging people to go to english cities (where there are higher case rates).
Its also why the entire pandemic wales has performed no better. Despite far more measures.
I’m Welsh and can confirm that Drakeford is insanely wrong on most things, especially covid and he can honestly go do one

England was proven correct in July and seem to be proven correct now with no restrictions. This just stinks of ‘opposite of what the UK government does’ for the sake of it.
Javid resonated more with me than Drakeford here, when he said we’ve gotta learn to live with covid. When a Conservative resonates more with me that says a lot man.

Thr problem is a difficult one. If you not react you have problems.
But you can only ask so much restrictions before you burn people out and expend any good will / support to make them work.
And Wales has had the strictest for thr longest out of most of UK for most of pandemic.
