One Wikipedia page claims they were withdrawn by the end of August 1993 ([https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A1%D0%B5%D0%B2%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%BE-%D0%97%D0%B0%D0%BF%D0%B0%D0%B4%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D0%B3%D1%80%D1%83%D0%BF%D0%BF%D0%B0_%D0%B2%D0%BE%D0%B9%D1%81%D0%BA](https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A1%D0%B5%D0%B2%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%BE-%D0%97%D0%B0%D0%BF%D0%B0%D0%B4%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D0%B3%D1%80%D1%83%D0%BF%D0%BF%D0%B0_%D0%B2%D0%BE%D0%B9%D1%81%D0%BA)) while some other websites claims they stayed at least until the end of 1998 (e.g. [https://warontherocks.com/2016/03/the-ghosts-of-soviets-past-two-army-intelligence-officers-explore-an-abandoned-cold-war-military-city-in-latvia/](https://warontherocks.com/2016/03/the-ghosts-of-soviets-past-two-army-intelligence-officers-explore-an-abandoned-cold-war-military-city-in-latvia/)).

I was wrong.
Here you go.
1994. gadā noslēgtais Latvijas-Krievijas līgums paredzēja, ka RLS strādās līdz 1998. gada 31. augustam un pēc tam to demontēs 18 mēnešu laikā.[4] Latvijā drīkstēja palikt 599 armijas virsnieki un 199 apkalpes darbinieki. Tāpat stacijas darbības laikā Krievija maksāja Latvijai nomas naudu, 5 miljonus ASV dolāru gadā. Staciju regulāri kontrolēja pārbaudes komisija, kurā darbojās arī EDSO pārstāvji
