Flames light up the sky after gas pipe explosion in Oklahoma

A column of flame shot into the sky in western Oklahoma overnight after a gas pipeline exploded on Tuesday (January 30) video from a local fire department showed.

Emergency responders from various agencies, including Booker Fire Department in neighbouring Texas, who captured the pillar of flames on video, arrived at the site near the town of Laverne to assess the situation.

While the cause remains unclear, officials have recommended avoiding the area for safety.
