A time limit sounds like a good idea, but what’s the deal here? If you for some reason can’t (note, not that you don’t want to) get vaccinated, you can’t use public transport? There are no exceptions for such people?
They can always repent and take the shot
This is ridiculous: these people often disregard rules and put themselves and other people at risk of losing their lives or having debilitating permament conditions, and what should we do? Leave them be?
Our government, which I don’t like very much, has tried, time and again, to nudge these people into vaccination for their own good. Now’s time to take things seriously.
Literally fuck all the way off. Italian hospitals are under a lot of strain after the omicron wave and non vaccinated people are the overwhelming majority of ICU patients. I appreciate the fuck out of our free national healthcare, but also I hate the idea of my tax money being wasted to provide emergency services for people who could just have gotten the vaccine instead, when cancer patients have had to suspend chemio cycles because the hospitals are swamped.
People who have free access to a life-saving vaccine but refuse it for no sound medical reasons are spitting in the face of all the dead and all the less fortunate people who _wish_ they could get the vaccine but have not access to it, and also causing a major disservice to society as a whole by putting hospitals under unnecessary strain and potentially harming immunocompromised folks who can’t get the vaccine. If they don’t want to get vaccinated they can stay out of public transportation
Good job Amnesty
If you don’t want to get vaccinated sign a paper saying you refuse hospital cures so in case you start getting worse die at your home instead of stealing beds to others who need it.
It’s your choice sure, but at least stop being a problem for the rest of the people.
Amnesty should use their time advocating for those in countries like China and Saudi Arabia who have no choices whatsoever, rather than spending time supporting anti-vaxers, who bring this upon themselves by their own idiotic, selfish choices.
People should be mindful of the virus. If they catch it they should self isolate in order to reduce the spread of COVID, no question about that. But governments are creating 2nd class citizens, and it is not the right solution to the issue. The current situation kind of reminds me of the time when non-white people were refused service from establishments back when racism was the norm. This.. This is a new kind of discrimination. There is a right and a wrong way of dealing with an issue. Everyone who gets the virus should be careful of not infecting others regardless if they’ve had the vaccine or not by self isolating. But disallowing people from “going out” even with a negative antigen test is not the right way to deal with this issue.

I can’t wait for this period to end
