I hope this isn’t against the rules. I am trying to understand the Germen culture and everything Germen. I found this nice band and they made a cover for “Weil ich dich liebe” by Westernhagen. At 1,37 they start laughing and at 2,26. Is it because he is smiling while singing a serious song?

  1. I’m original song by Westernhagen, the chorus is accompanied by a female voice, at least the second time. I think it’s funny that the part in this song is taken by the male saxophonist. But he doesn’t do it badly for the high vocal range.

/e I just listened to the original and I’m not so sure about the *female* voice anymore, I remembered it differently.

  2. He starts with a joke and I guess the whole ‘atmosphere’ of this concert was very funny/humorous. Also the other guy singing in his saxophone-mic.

  3. Clueso reacts with a smile to the fact that some in the audience started singing along. The girls shown reacted to the musician’s sympathetic smile. By the way, one of the most relaxed and likeable artists in Germany. And an absolute heartthrob for girls.

At 2:26 I think he “sings” to these girls with the line “Because I love you…” and the girls respond. And the audience reacts to the girls…. Unfortunately not in the picture.
Since I’ve been to Clueso concerts, that’s his thing. Embarrassing girls…
