  1. What I’ve read, is just load of bollocks cutting emissions in half without any clue how will it be achieved, who pays for that, there’s no target, to do it from large corporations and seems daft where your average person will carry the load.

    Like if this shit where government just increases taxes on regular people which simply seems like it is honestly they can fck off, at this stage.

    As people mentioned before large data centers use up more then most towns in Ireland, our power grid, gets more expensive each year, while they keep at it, so wtf is the goal.

    Like average person that can’t afford brand new house or new electric car won’t give a shit about going green as people are broke as is, they won’t tax multinational factories hubs data centers as they rake in revenue of them.

    As these talks usually boil down to taxes and cost increases, while literally being opposite of any solution.

    Like 90% comes from fossil fuels, grand that can easily be replaced by doing nuclear plant that will achieve 0 carb goal faster then 2050, yet no chance of it happening

  2. Divestment of carbon is the name of the game. It’s all about optics and avoidance of blame. Greenwashed shite.
