Reminds me of Poland under partitions where every store sign had to be same size in Russian and Polish despite all the population being Polish. Giving privilege to one ethnic/language speaking group is shit.
I don’t understand why you would live in a country and not learn its language. A short term visit is one thing, but anything longer should require the effort to integrate into the (linguistic) society.
