Don’t know why we have to wait tbh. English data shows there is little difference between no restrictions (they ‘require’ facemasks now and vaccine pass, antigens accepted, at nightclubs and sportsgrounds) and the Scottish rules (basically the same as ours just will later closing).
In fact our numbers are higher than theirs also despite our restrictions.
So unless they want to add more restrictions then easing the existing ones is the only course of action.
The data exists now that the restrictions are doing next to nothing so why have them in place until Feb (or go full lockdown for two weeks if not)

The next two weeks are crucial, for the hundredth week in a row.
Cutting close contact isolation times down, cutting it altogether for boostered people and I still can’t go to the cinema after work? I still can’t stay In a restaurant after 8pm on a weekend until sometime next month.

Simple fact wether people like to hear it or not. If people did as they where told in fucking first place we wouldnt have strong restrictions.
Giving out about been locked down and restricted is pointless as much as it is poinless to ask people in the country to use their common fucking sense.
As long as people aren’t vacced or masked up we will go around in fucking circles for fucking years.
My home a guy walked in to a pub before Xmas and whole place got infected. And pubs are safe. My fucking arse same as clubs.
I’m sick of listening too it all. Take responsibility of your self and do as you should protect yourself and your loved ones. Don’t be the one not doing as you know you should be. Then get sick and wonder why you can’t get a bed in hospital because you thought you where invincible.
It’s not just your live that gets effected by not doing as you should. Giving out about restrictions people that can’t follow them have no right to complain about them we have them because of them simple.

Use you fucking common sense. Want no restrictions wear a fucking mask get vac. Follow advice. If not shut up and deal with like we all have.
