Two teens hospitalised following suspected stabbing in Dublin

  1. I was in Lidl during the summer. A young lad reached up to get something off a shelf, his t-shirt hiked up at the back and you could see a large handle of a knife tucked into his pants. I live in a small town with no known feuds or gangland activity. It really stuck with me. I rationalised it that maybe he was fishing on the canal, or doing some outdoors stuff in the woods. But probably not tbh.

  2. I’m coming from a third world country, and wanted to just ask one question: is the news reporting like this in Ireland? There is no indication of what really happened, or who stabbed the kids or any such information. You as a reporter jump into writing and publishing as soon as you see the tip of an iceberg? Is that typical? The whole article sounds like the reporters and the police are begging fellow citizens to figure out what really happened.
