  1. What? Did the judge expect trUmp’s Chief Financial Officer to tell the truth?

  2. Is Trump now trying to delay the ruling by leaking more crimes to consider?

  3. New York Judge Arthur Engoron demanded answers from the former president’s lawyers in a new email suggesting “Trump is in even more trouble,” The Daily Beast’s Jose Pagliery reports.

The New York Times reported last week that longtime former Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg is in talks with Manhattan prosecutors to plead guilty to perjury after a Forbes article discredited his claims about Trump’s inflated penthouse apartment value. Weisselberg was abruptly pulled from the stand in Trump’s fraud trial after the article was published.

“As the presiding magistrate, the trier of fact, and the judge of credibility, I of course want to know whether Mr. Weisselberg is now changing his tune, and whether he is admitting he lied under oath in my courtroom at this trial,” Engoron wrote in an email to Trump’s legal team and the New York attorney general’s office.

  4. Imagine throwing yourself under the bus for Trump who demands loyalty but will not give it.

  5. Uh-oh. Maga-mess.

    Donald’s in doo-doo.

    No immunity.

    No defense.

    No business.

    No mo’.

    Right Repubs?

  6. Everyone in Trump’s dumpster is a liar if they want to survive there

  7. Good news today. No immunity for Shitler. The NY civil judgement looms. Jack Smith looms.

  8. Why would Allen Weisselberg continue to protect Trump, if he knew Trump was likely headed for jail?

  9. At this point it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s employing perjury as a delaying tactic

  10. Is he really in trouble though?  If a poor person lies under oath, does the judge usually “demand answers” or do they just throw the person straight in prison?

  11. Try not to commit any more crimes on your way through the parking lot.

  12. Your Honor, I see that American flag behind you is adorned with gold fringe. Therefore, this is a maritime court, subject to an alternative set of laws, so I merely presented an alternative set of facts.

  13. Hard to believe this crook is the head of the GOP. Awful for America. Problem is you won’t see this on Fox.

  14. I keep seeing these type of headlines, but trump is still out and able to travel/whine to his sheep as he wants. When does he actually face repercussions? Soon? He has been making a mockery of every courtroom he has been in, broken gag orders and is still able to get on tv to spout his lies. Put the fucker in jail for the shit for which we would certainly be in jail.

  15. Since when is lying under oath a crime?
Just because you keep breaking the law doesn’t make something a crime -Republicans

  16. It’s so insane seeing if Trump will be held to account before he can maybe (dear Lord hopefully not) become President again. He’s just trying so hard to get in before these consequences hit him so that he can erase them. It’s like trying to get a power-up in a game right as you’re dying. Only the powerup means fascism.

  17. This article does not include all of what Engoron said, and it excluded the most important part. From the [Meidas Touch](https://www.meidastouch.com/news/judge-engoron-demands-trumps-attorneys-to-address-his-cfos-potential-perjury-report) article:

    >As a result, Judge Engoron demanded that the attorneys submit supplemental briefing about Weisselberg’s potential plea by tomorrow at 5 PM, **and include whether the New York Times report should impact the ultimate timeline for his decision.** Importantly, in this demand, he warns Trump’s attorneys against violating any professional ethics or obligations.

That is the point behind what they’re doing with Weisselberg. They are trying to delay things for Trump.

  18. There is nothing associated with Trump that is true and honest. His entire persona is a fabricated lie.

  19. To think, I worry about getting caught speeding when I know I’m not while these crooks commit crime as casually as a shit in the woods.
