Until Israel agrees to a fully free from interference Palestinian state, I don’t see how the violence will end. And the sitting Israeli government has made it clear they won’t permit a state (also all the oil exploration around Gaza is a definite worry.)
Also, as soon as this war is over, Israeli eyes will turn back onto Netanyahu’s corruption. It’s in Bibi’s personal interest to keep this war going.
Calling for a return to the status quo so they can plan their next October 7. It’s not going to happen.
