Smaller explosives of the incendiary type maybe, but this is still just a prototype by the looks of it so we will see. I found the concept however very interesting a bit more expensive perhaps compared to your regular dropping mechanism but still very interesting
Smart as fuck. Might work even better if rubbery stuff replaced with carbon.
Let her rip tater chip. let’s make this feature standard equipment.
Innovators
This reminds me of the “Revolver 860” drones Taiwan delivered way back.
It bothers me that it’s 5, not 6
Clever bastards.. I look forward to orcs being hit many many more times on each drone run.
Wouldn’t a pure gravity load be easier?
Although its very cool.
Godspeed!
A 6-shooter-dropper. Gotta love their innovation.
First one goes, second goes. That’s it, the barrel officially works. Works stably, normally and look at this feature. When we press pause it (the barrel) goes to neutral position. That’s it, the product is working. Text us and order, sales department will do its work finally.
Fill them with thermite and fly it over a refinery
This isn’t a great design.
As far as I can see release happens automatically based on rotation which means there’ll be a delay between trigger release and drop.
It will also cause tumble in the grenade as the release isn’t clean.
Having 6 drones hanging vertically would be a better solution in that the grenade will be oriented properly for drop.
Reuseable.. clever, me, im a lazy bastard. I would just try to glue the ammunition together- into the final structure of the drone, add ignition wire to that soft-explosive glue and voila.
Basically a cluster ammunition, making up the drones structure..
Then again, im a lazy bastard..
I will follow with interest.
They should hold them vertically and use 5 servos to drop them,
