Barcelona have made the decision to SIGN Aleix Garcia. The club is serious about him and have informed both Girona and the player’s entourage about their intention. Barça think he would cost €14M-€15M and players could be included in the deal. [@ffpolo]

1. He has the ability** to play DM, doesn’t mean he is a DM. But he’s probably better than Romelu

2. Lets say he joins us, where would he play and in what position/role and where would he be placed in the midfield “pecking order” ?

4. Isnt he a similar profile to gundogan/frenkie/pedri? Cm that can play dm but idnt a dm. Same with frenkie and gundogan unless pedri or gavi transform into a dm.

   Gavis got the most defensive feats so unless the new coach opts for a double pivot then we could realistically rotate all our cms but besides gavi their defensive feats arent too great

5. Its a good signing. Getting a good midfielder backup, helps ease out on Pedri/Gavi.

   He can also form the double pivot.

6. So we’re gonna have Pedri (CM), Gavi (CM), De Jong (CM), Gündogan (CM), Noah Darvich (CM), Aleix Garcia (CM), Fermín López (CM), for two positions.

   And Oriol Romeu (DM) for one position.
