There are people dying, abused, in need of help, starving, homeless, forced to choose between heating and food, but it’s easier to stand by the clinic to shame and abuse people who need abortion due to rape, deception, mistake/odd chance, and medical reasons instead of doing something useful with their spare time.

These protests seem insane to me, if you look at it from their point of view then they want to “save” the lives of the children. How does intimidating vulnerable women help achieve that? If you want to convince them to keep the child then surely there are other ways to do it, actually talk to them, tell them how they can get help, adoption services, whatever. Nobody is going to listen to someone standing outside a hospital being aggressive and telling them they’re a terrible person.
In reality they don’t actually care about the babies, they just think they are better than people who for whatever reason aren’t able to bring a child into the world, so they abuse them to make themselves feel superior.

Used to walk past these reprobates going from Dennistoun into town, at the Royal Infirmary in Glasgow. This was almost 20 year ago. Probably the same old codgers doing it now. The hate for womens bodily autonomy keeps them alive.
