How is this news? The problems with the Central Line will take years to resolve. Are we going to have The Standard tell us that every day for the next x years?
The UK is slowly sliding into the toilet. Well not that slowly
They ought to reduce fares during this time. Theyve shown pure incompetence with this central line refresh. The motors breaking down during this whole process only shows even further how incompetent TfL are. They have had YEARS to plan for this.
Freaking RTO policies, innit?
Fortunately I don’t use central line but anyway, the whole underground is fcked. It’s extremely overcrowded. Victoria line which runs every 1 min can’t keep up in peak times. They need new trains with bigger space and make it every 30 seconds since there is more and more people in London every year
