As an American I am ashamed at how we will break our promises and sacrifice our integrity for money and power. Every politician that is on the wrong side of Americas shame needs to be remembered at election time

Yes, it’s terrible. On the plus side, Russia is losing so many people, so much equipment, and so much money, that they will eventually be unable to sustain it. But in the mean time, there’s a huge cost to Ukraine.
It’s unfortunate Avdiivka fell, but not surprising. Just gotta keep it in perspective. At this point Avdiivka is just a glassed wasteland in a small part of the eastern front, and its a glassed wasteland Russia payed dearly for (Russiky mir, everyone). Ukraine knew intense fighting would be happening there and Im sure theyve been preparing backup positions for quite a while. If they make Russians pay 80,000 lives every few square miles, Id say thats a good trade compared to the cost of holding ground arbitrarily.
But yeah get these folks the freaking ammo and weapons they need. Americans, go to congress.gov and find your rep. Send a 3 sentence email stating youre a voter in their district and support aid to Ukraine. The pressure isnt gonna come from the top

They have the resources to manufacture 155mm shells, why haven’t they been doing so?
