  1. Takes me back to my teen years of playing Twafflebadders on a Sunday afternoon.

I was pretty good, but gave up after I got snoogled on the fourth corridor five games in a row.

    Bad times.

  2. Morning ton Crescent is the better game, but I still find the Wimbledon rules ridiculous in the new Twickenham Cross versions

  3. Frankly, an outrageous display. Vile. This is no longer the game of Higginbotham and Willings, I say.

  4. I actually just scrolled past the US equivalent of this. It was an add for a Chevy truck.

  5. That call was bullshit!

Perfect form in the leap if you ask me.

  6. Commentators were spot on, that’s some of the best ring fringing I’ve ever seen.

  7. Damn Dutch taking the piss out of our great heritage again. Funny though.

  8. As an expat who still has no idea how kriket works, I laughed way too hard at this.

  9. That’s also a baseball to at least the majority of Eastern Europeans

  10. Thought that was from an obscure BBC TV show. Turns out it’s Dutch.

  11. If there was ever an example of why we need technology in the game…Ref’s lost it there

  12. To be fair that video looks far more entertaining than cricket. A sport where men stand in a field for 5 days with the occasional tea break. Then at the end they have scores that are not the same and declare it a draw.

  13. And then you have the equally very-English “push each other down the hill” type games.

  14. Jiskefet is the dutch comedy trio who made thus sketch for anyone wondering

  15. No… That’s how cricket seems to Americans. It is a very traditional jargon heavy sport.

The rest of the UK sports are played globally by pretty much everyone including Americans. Our most famous export being take the ball and kick it in the other net. Our second most famous export being pick up the oval ball and run it over the line.

  16. There are some videos of ‘American people’ on YT filming their reaction to this and thinking it’s real. Worth a watch just to remind oneself how stupid some people are

  17. That was the most nailbiting game of Squaffball I ever saw live, the person in the stand was beside himself

  18. You haven’t lived until you’ve tried to explain cricket to a German.

    “But zat is not logical!!”
    “No- it’s cricket.”

  19. you just don’t see ring fringing like this in the modern game
