I mean one of them murdered an MP in broad daylight at his surgery for his constituents and still people forgot about it and just accepted it as something you have to just live with in our society
Can’t even protect teachers who show a cartoon in class from Islamists.
“The Free Press For Free People,” sounds like a Little Britain reboot set in North Korea.
A quick look at their homepage shows that alongside this article they’ve got a bunch of transphobic garbage and some conspiracy theories about how the police officer who murdered George Floyd is “a scapegoat”.
And just in case it’s not obvious where they stand, they’ve got a load of articles trying to defend Donald Trump and an article asking whether the similarly aged Joe Biden is too old to be President.
Why on Earth would OP link to this nonsense?
Tl;dr: I’m going to lose my seat at the next election and cooked up a sympathetic-sounding excuse for getting out while the going is good.
Fwiw there’s a whole load of data out there that shows the UK is under far larger threat of right wing domestic terrorism than it is from Islamist based domestic terrorism at any given time. This is more culture war bullshit to try and make you hate your Muslim mates.
Britain can’t protect itself from its own government ministers.
I think we screwed up when we surrendered the space for criticising Islam and Muslims (as one would reasonably criticise Christianity and Christians) to Tommy Robinson et al.
I am one of the first people to state that a critical look at Islam, fundamentalism and the wisdom or lack thereof of importing Islam *en masse* is highly necessary. It is a right-wing ideology with deeply concerning pillars of misogyny, homophobia and social repression that – when followed to the letter – gels poorly with Western values.
This is a worthwhile conversation that the Left is too self-righteous and virtue-signalling to even entertain and the Right is too downright racist and xenophobic to discuss rationally. Which leaves it to the rest of us.
But for the love of Cthulhu, please check your sources. It undermines the discussion and our validity when we link to extremist, nationalist nutjobs to back up our arguments against extremism.
We can protect MPs from far right nut cases either. Jo Cox…
Britain can’t protect politicians from extremists in general.
Extremism is the problem.
Islamic, Jewish, Christian, whatever, the extremes will always be problematic.
There have been two high profile assassinations of British MPs in recent years. One was an Islamist, one was a white far right nationalist who despised muslims.
Where is the faux-outrage at the group behind exactly 50% of the political violence in this countries recent history?
I’m far more concerned with the leadership of Neo conservative Zionism. They have completely removed the left representation and are spreading like a cancer looking for privatised profits and land with no reverse gear.
For a very long time it used not to have to protect them from anyone; now we are hearing noises about MPs having armed protection – arms which *must* be considered well and good for you or me to carry, if an MP may be surrounded by them – all of which indicates that something is going on now that has not gone on before.
The same in this thread complaining about the source are the same people who deep throat the Guardian, who of course are never wrong and never lie
What I’d like to ask the mods on this page are. This is clearly an opinion piece constructed around on going events.
When I posted an opinion piece by CND/Stop The War based on on going international relations. It got removed stating they don’t publish opinion pieces.
Why the double standards?

Ths is a Very Bias newspaper. Go to the homepage and you will see.
Why am I not surprised this article is intended to shitcoat the pro-Palestine movement by lumping in things like the cancellation of Douglas Murray’s event with some of the most vicious attacks of the last few years, e.g David Amess.
“Wait, our immigration policy wasn’t supposed to affect *us*!”
It’s not that we physically can’t, it’s that we legally can’t.
If the ministers had armed details or if they could carry arms, then the chances of this happening would lessen.
However, this is the UK, and such things just would not be cricket.
So we must open our ministers up to assault by these animals, many of which of whom we have let in as refugees, some who have snuck into our lands unlawfully.
We need to take a much firmer approach on our public servant’s protection and that of this countries citizens.
They made thus rod for their own back by backing mass immigration.
Both Scotland and London have selected Islamists to rule over them, so it surely comes as no surprise any more?
Politicians have allowed the growth of Islam in this country so why should we worry about them being targeted. They allowed them into the UK and dont stop attacking Muslim countries.
Yeah I said this would happen like 20 years ago and was called a racist.
Their religion and culture is literally incompatible with western ideals.
And millions are now here.
The West is simply done.
Maybe the MPs should sue them via the Sharia court system?
When Jo Cox got shot there were no end of people actively denouncing everything Far Right.
Where are the equivalent denouncements of Islamism, and why do I have to **actively go looking for them, instead of having them shoved down my throat by the mainstream media?**
No more pandering to people who don’t like the West.
