  1. I don’t remember the origin of 1, but it’s a village tradition at this point. 2 is just smart, the chain guides the water to the drain and prevents splashing. It’s often used in unfinished buildings, where a proper pipe cannot be attached until the building is done. 3 is graffiti depicting a vagina, it is considered the most inappropriate sexual drawing by many. It can sometimes be depicted with hair.

  2. Cups on fence: protects the top of the wood from water seeping in and ruining the wood. Old cups are used for this. Can also work as a scarecrow to deter birds.

Drain chain: directs the dripping water so that it flows along the chain rather than splashing everywhere, cheap alternative to an actual drain pipe

Line in diamond: a common way to draw a vagina, used as vulgar graffiti

  3. Just a decoration AFAIK.
might be a tradition in some places, but in general, just a deco

  4. This post made me realize, there are some odd things going on in this country…

  5. 1. It is your kill count and you have it as a warning for other people.
    2. It is for when the responsibilities of Ghost rider call, you have a chain on hand.
    3. I think those are dwarf runes though I am not sure.

  6. #2 the chain can also be used during winter to prevent ice formation – it just swings with the wind and so icicles are not forming
