  1. “He lived next to us. We were all from the same area. We always hung out together. Since school. He was a very good person. Always ready to help. He was a barber before joining. We always gathered on the football field near our school. Played football. We could go out early in the morning and stay until late until our mothers would chase us home,” – said Ihor Horyshnyi, Mykola’s friend.

Senior soldier Mykola Sydorenko was the operator of the 2nd anti-tank division of the 2nd anti-tank guided missile battery. He fought in the Donetsk region and was killed on February 2nd by enemy fire.

Ihor adds: “He was an excellent barber. The whole neighborhood went to him to get a haircut. But when the big war came, he had to go. Voluntarily. Without hesitation. He told everyone, ‘I’m going, I want to avenge our boys. I want to defend our people.’ And he went there.”
