Current Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski accused previous government of changing Poland’s ethnic composition. He referred to the visa scandal when uvetted migrants were allowed to enter the country or entered it illegally. According to press reports, embassies were pressured to give the foreigners Polish visas.
— During the rule of previous government, the ethnic composition of our country was changed without any decisions made by the Council of Ministers, the Sejm or even the Prime Minister, he said.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs went on to say that the biggest scandal was that “the government was simultaneously antagonizing migrants and granting hundreds of thousands of work permits and tens of thousands of visas, and we can see it on the streets of Polish cities. In eight years, more migrants from outside Europe arrived in Poland than in any thousand-year period of our country’s history,” added Sikorski.
